Hi everyone, the Freebie Friday pattern today is the Spring design to match the Summer and Autumn patterns I designed last year, I have not stitched it yet but I am hoping to do so over the weekend and show you a photo next week, the winter pattern will also be designed soon so that you have a matching set of 4.The colours on the pattern grid do not show up as bright as they are in real life, I therefore decided to show the threads to give you a better idea of the colours. The design grid is at the bottom of this post, just click on the image and then right click to save to your computer.
If you need a tutorial to make a pillow don't forget to check out my tutorials blog here
I made a little mistake in the pattern, suggesting the wrong colour for the plant pot, it should be DMC 738 and not DMC 742 as that may be a bit too dark, I will change it in the pattern.
I have now stitched the design, it is not finished but you can see it stitched here in my next post.
I have weakened!!!! I am now on Instagram, you can find me on there as stitchingfairy and on Ravelry under the same name, although I have been on Ravelry quite a number of years now.
I must admit I do like being able to quickly upload a picture rather than faffing about with my camera, I was lucky enough to get a new iphone for Christmas after borrowing the iphone 4 from my sister for a few months, I liked it that much I had to get one!
If you want to see some of my first photos on Instagram you will see some crochet bracelets I have been making and a couple of funny cross stitch designs. Don't laugh but I only have one follower so far! Lol..... 😉 Of course I will show my crochet on here in my next post too.
If any of you are on Instagram give me a shout and I will pop over to see you.
I am tentatively thinking about learning how to upload videos to You Tube, I did it once but not very successfully, I may do a video showing some of my boxes and ornaments that I have made over the years, if anyone is interested in seeing that please let me know.
Until next time, happy stitching!
